Want to Say Thank You

We want to say thank you to all of our volunteers for helping with the clean up.

We pulled out close to 30 tires from the stream and 6 bags of trash from the street and stream combined.

Need Your Help!!!

We are looking for volunteers to help us for both Tyvola Road and the Stream that runs next to what use to be the Charlotte Coliseum. Clean up will be on JUNE 25th 2009 from 9 AM to 5 PM. There are 3 Shifts.

1. 9 AM - Noon (Stream Clean Up)


2. 1 PM - 3:30 PM (Stream Clean Up/Road Clean Up)


3. 2 PM - 5 PM (Road Clean Up)

Click on the Shifts you Would like to sign up for and then email me at Jay@barslist.com to let me know you will be there. I will email everyone with directions on where to meet on July 22nd.

We need at least 3 to 4 people for each of the Stream shifts and 2 to 3 people for each Road shift.

Adopt a Stream and Adopt a Road

Bar's List is working to get involved in the Charlotte Community with some volunteer work. We are trying to Adopt a part of Tyvola Road and a stream that runs under that section. We would love to get a few volunteers to help us with the cleanup. It would be on a sunny Saturday that we try to do this. We will keep you posted on the dates. Logo Has Been Decided

Web Designer

Hey everyone. I have listed a website up at the top on the right called office hax. This site was developed by our web designer for Bar's List.com. The site is a great, free to use, concept of an electronic eBay. He has, in the past, given away things as big as i pods. I would keep an eye out on his site for anything that refers to "Free" as the listing price.

If you are looking for a certain merchant/restuarant/whatever let me know and I will make sure to keep an eye out for you.

On the right side I have listed some cards that I would already be willing to sell. The first price is what they are worth and the percentage is the discount I am willing to sell them at. Just let me know if any of these interest you by again emailing me.

What do you think?

Two comments that people have been making to me personally is the arrow on option 2 we could do without, and the B on option 3 looks like a 3 not a B. I was thinking we could change that to a lower case b so it would look more like a b and not a 3. Let me know what you guys think?

The Logos are in!!!

We have four choices for everyone to pick from. You can view the options off to the right. In order to see what logo goes with what option you will have to click on the actual slideshow. Once you click on the logo/slideshow you will be taken to a full screen of all four options. Down below the picture is a number that certain logo goes with. Then you can come back to Bar's List.com's blog and make your selection. You can select more than one logo, so if you like both 1 and 3 you can select both, but just as a favor to me please do not select more than two logos.

Bar's List.com Needs People to vote on the logos and we need your comments. We have a lot of things we can do with the logos like change the color, or if we like part of one and want it on another we can do that. Let us know whatever it is you are thinking. If you voted on a logo we are sure you have something to say about it. Let us know. Go below this post and click comment to share your opinion and to read others opinions. You can also say your reaction, by clicking on the little tabs down below that say “cool” or “funny” or “interesting”, to any post that was made on this site.

Logo Design

We are having a company design some different logos for Bar's List.com. We need everyone's help on deciding which logo is best for the company. Once the logos are posted, I will have another survey up there to let everyone vote on a design. Once we have enough votes to go by we will make our selection. Please invite friends and family to come and take a look. We would love to have a large demographic to get a good idea of the best logo. We would also love to hear your opinions on each different logo. Feel free to post your thoughts on the blog.
